The Bergen County Council of PTAs helps local units function effectively by giving strength to local PTAs by enabling them to work more effectively in their schools and committees. Organized with the Council, PTAs can provide the impact of the united effort for which we are recognized - to improve the education and welfare of children and youth.
The Bergen County Council of PTAs is governed by bylaws approved by New Jersey PTA. Local PTAs join the Council as self-governing organizations. The Council is directed by the same objects and basic policies as the National and New Jersey Congress of Parents and Teachers.
